By using LeaseSetup, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
LeaseSetup helps users create rental-related documents, including lease agreements, roommate agreements, subleases, and related document templates. Documents are generated based on information provided by users.
LeaseSetup does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal review. Generated documents are provided for general informational and document-preparation purposes only. Users are responsible for reviewing all documents before signing or using them.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any document generated through LeaseSetup is accurate, complete, appropriate for their situation, and compliant with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and local requirements.
LeaseSetup does not independently verify property ownership, user identity, listing accuracy, landlord authority, tenant qualifications, zoning compliance, rental legality, habitability, payment arrangements, or the legitimacy of any transaction.
Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any rental, roommate, sublease, short-term rental, or occupancy arrangement. LeaseSetup is not responsible for fraud, scams, misrepresentation, identity theft, unauthorized subleasing, fake listings, payment disputes, or failed transactions.
LeaseSetup may allow users to apply electronic signatures. Users are responsible for ensuring that electronic signatures are appropriate and valid for their intended use and jurisdiction.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. LeaseSetup does not store full payment card details.
Because LeaseSetup provides custom digital documents that may be generated or delivered instantly, all sales are generally final once a document has been generated or delivered. Technical issues or duplicate charges may be reviewed under our Refund Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeaseSetup and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform, generated documents, rental transactions, disputes between parties, or reliance on any document.
By using LeaseSetup, users agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LeaseSetup and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from use of the platform, generated documents, or rental transactions between parties.
LeaseSetup may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.
