LeaseSetup helps users generate rental-related documents based on information entered by the user. LeaseSetup does not review documents for legal sufficiency, accuracy, enforceability, or suitability for any particular situation.
Use of LeaseSetup does not create an attorney-client relationship. Communications with LeaseSetup are not privileged legal communications.
Users are responsible for reviewing all information, confirming document accuracy, verifying local requirements, and consulting a qualified professional when legal, financial, tax, housing, or regulatory advice is needed.
LeaseSetup does not verify property ownership, landlord authority, tenant identity, listing accuracy, payment arrangements, rental legality, zoning status, habitability, STR permissions, sublease permissions, or any party’s right to enter into a rental arrangement.
Rental scams, fake listings, fake landlords, fake tenants, unauthorized subleases, and payment fraud may occur online. Users should independently verify the identity of the other party, inspect property when appropriate, confirm ownership or authority, avoid suspicious payment requests, and use caution before sending money or signing documents.
LeaseSetup does not guarantee that any document will be enforceable, legally sufficient, accepted by a court, accepted by a government office, accepted by a landlord, accepted by a tenant, or compliant with every local requirement.
Use of LeaseSetup and generated documents is at the user’s own risk. LeaseSetup is not responsible for disputes, losses, damages, fraud, nonpayment, failed rentals, property issues, or legal outcomes arising from use of the platform.
